The solar industry is growing rapidly, and at the same time there is a shortage of qualified solar workers. Today’s solar employers are challenged with finding people with the skills and experience necessary to properly design and install the PV systems for residential and commercial projects.
Register today and learn how to install solar from qualified instructors with extensive experience installing residential and commercial PV systems. This two-day course covers the fundamentals of the design and installation of residential and commercial photovoltaic grid-tied systems. Students will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course.

What time: 7am to 3pm
How much: The fee is $325 per person (except Hawaii).

- The basics of electricity for PV
- How to size and design a PV system
- PV modules, inverters and racking systems
- How to handle permitting and state and federal rebates
- System maintenance and troubleshooting
Note: Students who take Course #300 and wish continue on with the hands-on training can enroll in the last three days of Course #500 PV Design and Installation Certification Course at a cost of $1,500. Please call for details.
