PV Design and Installation Certificate Course
This five-day accelerated hands-on course in our new Solar Technology Center offers a compact learning experience for a more in-depth understanding of design and installing residential and commercial PV grid-tied systems. This course is designed for advanced learning, and will be offered to individuals that want to advance their design and installation skills. This course will also be offered to companies that want to give their PV designers and installers additional training using the latest techniques. Register today!
Advanced Solar PV System Design
This intensive three-day training course will give students an in-depth exposure to the numerous considerations involved in the design and permitting of a PV system. The course will cover design and permitting of both residential and commercial solar installations, up to 100 kilowatts in size. This course is for contractors, engineers, designers, and solar industry professionals who want to further their knowledge of solar design. Register today!
Online Solar Photovoltaic Training Courses – Coming Soon!
The Solar Training Institute will be offering online solar training courses in the near future. We are developing courses that our students can take both online and in our solar lab at any of our 5 locations in California. This hybrid approach to solar training will allow people pursuing careers in the solar industry to study photovoltaic systems online from any computer and get the practical hands-on training that online-only courses lack. This entry level two-day course is designed for people that want to learn the basics of installation. If you are a home owner and want to learn about how to install a solar system in your home, or if you are contractor and want get a basic understanding of what it takes to install PV systems for a living this class is for you.
