Register today and learn how to install solar from qualified instructors with extensive experience installing residential and commercial PV systems. This two-day course covers the fundamentals of the design and installation of residential and commercial photovoltaic grid-tied systems. Students will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course and earn 16 hours of formal cumulative training towards the PV Installer Certification exam education requirement administered by NABCEP.
What you’ll learn:
- Photovoltaic and grid-tie systems
- The basics of electricity for PV
- How to size and design a PV system
- PV modules, inverters and racking systems
- How to handle permitting and state and federal rebates
- System maintenance and troubleshooting
Note: Students who take Course #300 and wish to continue on with the hands-on training can enroll in the last three days of Course #500 PV Design and Installation Certification Course at a cost of $1,500. Please call for details.

How much: The fee is $325 per person. The fee includes two full days of instruction and materials.
