Unemployment Retraining Benefits
The Employment Development Department (EDD) has unemployment has retraining benefits available for individuals who qualify to pay for your training at the Solar Training Institute. STI is registered with the State of California and Hawaii's Eligible Training Provider List.
If you are out of work and are receiving unemployment benefits through EDD, your local One-Stop Career Centers may pay for you to be retrained through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) program or Trade Adjustment Act (TAA). WIA and TAA funds a variety of employment and training programs for youth and adults in various levels of services depending on needs and eligibility.

Student Financing Program
The Solar Training Institute has partnered with a third party student financing program to provide you with another option to pay enrollment fees for solar training. The loan program provides financing to both individuals with good credit and to individuals that have credit challenges.
